Old Lyme offers a beautiful rocky beach, a bit different from Fl white sands but nonetheless scenic. The water temperature is unbearably cold for our thin FL blood, so no swimming in the forecast. The surrounding areas of Old Saybrook have some neat places to see. Marinas are everywhere, a truly nautical feel in this community.
